challenge no. 34

First of all thanks to :iconmjranum-stock : for a wonderful stock image! [link]

Okay... after a long time I didn't draw with pencil! This was made with white and red (yes red :) ) pastel on black paper... Hair is actually red but I played a bit with colors in GIMP and I like it more this way...
Generally I'm satisfied with this because tt's my first black on white drawing that looks like something! I'm just sad that I messed up her face... I simply don't have practice with this style and media so it was a bit to hard to make details :( I hope you like it anyway!

Cheers!!!

...very interesting and nice,in another "style"of your's..It's not bad at all,and I think it must have been quite difficult to do...As you said, the face could be "worked a bit more, draw much more "hair" in the face? The face is seeming a bit "scared"to me,although she should be happy to touch the stars? At least,I would be..;)but again, that is a question of point of view..:-)

Oooh, cool anatomy! And actually the face looks really nice; it gives her sort of a nymph aspect, or something kinna magical ^^

really interesting; it reminds me of pictures in astronomy books on constellations, you know, with the detailed drawing with the stars of the constellation running through it?
